Discussions on activating cooperation between Syria and Lebanon in the field of transport

The Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamiyeh, discussed with the Secretary-General of the Lebanese-Syrian Supreme Council Nasri Khoury the strengthening of Lebanese-Syrian relations and joint cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides also reviewed, during the meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Railways and Joint Transport Authority Ziad Nasr, all ways leading to activating relations with Syria in the fields concerned by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, especially the issue of fees on transit trucks and other urgent matters and issues.

Minister Hamieh had discussed with the Syrian ambassador to Lebanon on the eighth of this month the bilateral cooperation in the field of transportation in addition to the issues that impose integration between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
