Strengthening the knowledge of Italians on European cohesion policy, its impact and funding opportunities for Italy
: this is the goal of the
new project on cohesion policy co-financed by the European Commission launched by ANSA
, the information that, in Italy, spreads the greatest number of news on Europe.
As part of the project called
"Cohesion Matters - An information and engagement campaign on the future of cohesion policy"
, ANSA, to integrate its activity with data and academic research, will make use of the consolidated collaboration with the
Scuola Superiore Sant ' Anna
and in particular with her
Dirpolis Institute (Law, Politics, Development)
.
The project aims to strengthen media coverage on cohesion policy, with particular reference to the funding it offers to the Italian regions, and to raise awareness on the functioning and opportunities associated with European funds and new allocations to facilitate economic recovery. after the Covid-19 pandemic.
In this context, making use of a consolidated expertise on European policies, the research group of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna will produce
detailed analyzes on the cohesion funds and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan
, with a focus on three themes: the
green deal and environmental challenges
,
digital innovation
and
economic and social recovery
. Particular attention will be dedicated to the
new generations
, to bring them closer to the issues that affect the European Union and that will be decisive for their future.
To disseminate the results of the project, ANSA will launch communication campaigns also on
social media
, focusing on the younger demographic groups and on specific "stakeholders", in support of a constant information activity through its newsletters. All
news, data, insights and interviews
produced in Italy and Brussels will be published on the ANSA EUROPA website and collected in the sections dedicated to
'Your Europe'
and
'Europe of the Regions'
.
ANSA and Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna have already been partners in a project that analyzed the use and impact of European funds destined for Italy in the context of cohesion policies, highlighting the best regional practices and describing, thanks also the use of infographics and multimedia tools, the results of the 2014-2020 programming.
