"Today was a good start," said the SPD state chairman and prime minister Manuela Schwesig after the two-hour conversation in Schwerin on Friday.
Schwerin - The parliamentary group leader of the Left in the state parliament, Simone Oldenburg, added at the joint press conference: "The chemistry is right."
Seven working groups for the individual policy areas were set up according to the information.
Work there should start on the weekend.
“We don't want to lose any time,” said Schwesig.
The results would then be negotiated to the end in the main round with five representatives each from the SPD and the left.
