Former United States President Bill Clinton, 75, was hospitalized three days ago (Tuesday) at a hospital in Irvine, California.
A Clinton spokesman said he had an infection with his blood, and that the cause of his hospitalization was not the Corona virus.
The spokesman added that the former president "is in a good mood and thanks the doctors, nurses and staff who provide him with excellent care."

The hospital said in a statement that Clinton "was hospitalized for close monitoring, and was given antibiotics and an infusion."
"After two days of treatment, his white blood cell count drops and he responds well to antibiotics," the doctors said in a statement.
Doctors also added that they "hope he will return home soon."
A CNN reporter reported that Clinton stayed in the intensive care unit "primarily to give him privacy."
He added that he did not need a soul machine and that the hospitalization had nothing to do with previous heart problems from which Clinton suffered.
