Fretterode raid: Public prosecutor examines allegations

The public prosecutor's office in Mühlhausen is investigating allegations of crime scene work by police officers after the attack on two journalists in the Fretterode area.

One is currently checking whether there is any initial suspicion for further investigations, said a spokesman for the Mühlhausen public prosecutor's office on Friday.

Mühlhausen - Two 22 and 27-year-old men who are said to have attacked and seriously injured two journalists in northern Thuringia in April 2018 are currently facing the Mühlhausen district court.

The public prosecutor's office accuses them of property damage, dangerous bodily harm and serious robbery.

The accused are assigned to the right-wing extremist scene.
