The people in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia can look forward to sunny and mostly dry autumn days at the weekend.
While Friday is again uncomfortable with numerous showers, it is already loosening up on Saturday night, said Thomas Hain from the German Weather Service (DWD).
Leipzig - A lot of clouds are to be expected on Saturday, but in between the sun always looks through.
In the night it gets frosty.
"In the morning there will be hoar frost on the meadows," said Hain.
Sunday will be very sunny with only a few clouds.
The temperatures range between 11 and 13 degrees.
In the coming week, the beautiful autumn weather will continue for the time being: It will probably remain sunny and dry until the second half of the week - with temperatures around 15 degrees.
