In Hamburg, the national titles in the half marathon will be awarded on Sunday.
Around 400 athletes fight for the medals in the men and women as well as in the age groups.
The favorites include defending champion Miriam Dattke (Regensburg), the twins Debbie and Rabea Schöneborn (Berlin) as well as Lisa Hahner (Berlin) and Thea Heim (Starnberg).
Hamburg - In the men’s category, Samuel Fitwi (Stadtkyll) and Simon Boch (Regensburg) have the greatest chances of winning.
The start is at 10 a.m. on Wandsbeker Marktstrasse.
The championships are integrated into a large running event with around 1,300 active participants.
