The Thuringian health authorities have reported 648 new corona cases to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) since Thursday.
The so-called seven-day incidence, which shows the diseases per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, rose to 120, as the RKI announced on Friday.
Thuringia continues to be the federal state with the highest incidence.
Erfurt - then Bavaria follows.
Nationwide, the RKI gave the incidence at 68.7.
The Kyffhäuserkreis (225.8) continues to have the highest incidence nationwide among the rural districts and urban districts.
The value is lowest in the Nordhausen district (43.7).
New deaths in connection with Covid-19 diseases were not reported from Thuringia.
