According to a document from the Town Planning Board, the new teaching building will have four buildings with an area of ​​approximately 17,000 square meters and a total floor area of ​​approximately 43,000 square meters.

Among them, the tallest building has 9 floors, with teaching facilities, teaching laboratories, research laboratories, offices and storage space in the building.

The University of Hong Kong is expected to start construction in the summer of 2023 and complete it in 2026.
