The theme of this year's march is to denounce the culture of blaming the victim from society and it is titled "Believe Me" and the message: "Nothing is an invitation to rape."

"This is where we regain power," the march organizers said, adding: "The real provocation is not the word whore, but the violent attitude that victims and victims of sexual violence absorb from society."

Bracha Barad, executive director of the Kolan movement, which produces the march, said: "We believe it is time to stop the accusing culture and start believing in the victims. We are working all year to fight for a change in public discourse, and we will continue to be here for anyone who needs it."
