After the announced departure as managing director of the second division club SSV Jahn Regensburg, Christian Keller has not yet made a decision about his future in professional football.
He “definitely does not know” how things will go after the Jahn, said the 42-year-old on Friday before the Regensburg second division game in Paderborn on Sky TV.
Paderborn - "I have made it more than clear that I will initially be out for a longer period of time," said Keller.
When asked about the possible takeover of the chairmanship of the board of directors at Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart for ex-national player Thomas Hitzlsperger, who will be retiring there in 2022, Keller did not answer specifically.
“I haven't thought about what suits me yet,” he said.
The manager assured him that he was still one hundred percent responsible for Jahn with his heart.

Keller announced last Tuesday that he would be finishing his work in Regensburg at the end of the month.
That was decided and decided a long time ago.
Keller took up his post with the Upper Palatinate in the summer of 2013.
"We are economically very healthy," said Keller proudly.
Two successors are to share his management duties in the future.
They would find a “good starting position” to start, says Keller.
