The Lebanese security services arrested 19 armed men who were proven to be involved in the armed attack on protesters in the Tayouneh area of Beirut, which resulted in the death of seven martyrs and dozens of wounded.
Gunmen from the Lebanese Forces militia attacked peaceful demonstrators yesterday in the Tayouneh area, killing seven people, injuring more than sixty people, and many of them are still in hospitals for treatment.
The Lebanese National News Agency stated that the preliminary investigations conducted by the security services into the Tayouneh events resulted in the arrest of 19 people who were proven to be involved in the armed attack.
The agency indicated that the security services were tasked with conducting inquiries and investigations and collecting information about what happened, in addition to conducting a comprehensive survey of all surveillance cameras in the area to determine the identities of all the militants.
