After a dangerous escape in Sondershausen, the police are looking for a moped driver.
He gave gas on Friday afternoon when the officers wanted to check him, as the Kyffhäuser Police Department announced.
The insurance license plate was missing on the vehicle.
The man, who had a blonde pillion passenger, drove away on several streets, overtook cars and used a footbridge to hang out the police officers.
Sondershausen - According to the police, the driver also showed no consideration for a young woman who was on the bridge with two children.
But nobody was harmed.
The Sondershausen police is now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the driver and the passenger as well as the moped.
Also potentially endangered like the still unknown woman would be wanted.
Various reports were filed against the perpetrator.
