Rule of law: weapon pass between EU leaders on Twitter

It is with this late message posted on Twitter that the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, tried Thursday evening to bring the Slovenian Prime Minister, Janez Jansa to his senses, after a series of vitriolic tweets.

While Slovenia currently chairs the Council of the EU, Janez Jansa got angry on the social network against a delegation of MEPs traveling to her country to discuss rule of law issues, including media freedom.

The man is a follower of burst tweets, as was Donald Trump, to whom he had also given his support last year.
