According to the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken, the corona booster vaccinations in nursing homes in Saarland can soon be ended. "By the end of October, the trips by mobile teams as part of the booster vaccinations will be completed," announced the ministry on Friday. Afterwards, the journeys to the special forms of living in the integration assistance are expected to start at the beginning of November.
Saarbrücken - "With the increased vaccination offer, the possible decline in immunity, especially of vulnerable groups, should be counteracted," said Health Minister Monika Bachmann (CDU) according to a statement.
The aim is the greatest possible protection for residents and employees in care facilities and special forms of living.
The so-called booster vaccinations in elderly care facilities began in September.
