The head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, Hashem Safi El-Din, confirmed that the Lebanese Forces Party has turned into an American tool that seeks to drag Lebanon into an internal war, stressing that the blood of the martyrs who were killed by the party's gunmen in the Tayouneh area of the capital, Beirut, will not be in vain.

Safi El-Din said in a speech today during the funeral ceremony of a number of victims of the Tayouneh attack: "We are facing a massacre and a premeditated and described murder by the Lebanese Forces Party, which bears the first responsibility before the families of the martyrs and all the Lebanese."

Safi al-Din added: After this attack, "we will not be drawn into sedition or civil war, but at the same time we cannot let the blood of the oppressed go in vain."

Safi al-Din explained that “the Forces Party was aiming to cause an internal civil war again and revealed its face today, and perhaps it is compelled and urgent to do so by order of its defeated masters in the region.”

Safi El-Din called on the security and judicial agencies to take responsibility and bring the criminals to justice, considering that any delay in this matter is a partnership in the shedding of innocent blood.

And seven Lebanese were killed yesterday and sixty others were wounded as a result of an ambush carried out by gunmen from the Lebanese Forces Party against peaceful demonstrators who came out to express their position rejecting the politicization of the investigation into the explosion in the port of Beirut.
