Four weeks after the vaccination, those affected can get an injection with an mRNA vaccine from Biontech / Pfizer or Moderna, the Ministry of Health announced in Stuttgart on Friday.
Stuttgart - The state is following a decision of the Conference of Health Ministers and a statement by the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko).
The double vaccination should better protect those affected from the delta variant.
According to the Ministry of Health, around 418,600 people in the southwest have received the Janssen vaccine from the manufacturer Johnson & Johnson (as of Wednesday).
The vaccine is injected once.
