Flood victims from the district can now apply for funds from the emergency phone and for donations.
10,000 euros of this flowed from “Licht in die Herzen” to the district's donation account.

- The willingness to donate is still great for those affected by the flood on August 30th.
The airport association contributed the largest amount with 50,000 euros.
Another 25,000 euros have been received in the donation account set up by the district of Erding.
Of this, 10,000 euros alone come from “Licht in die Herzen”, the readers' aid organization of the Erdinger / Dorfener Anzeiger.
The rest are small donations of up to 500 euros.
Now that the Free State's funds have been released, the distribution of the donations can also begin, the District Office announced.
The prerequisite for this is the submission of a self-assessment.
Like other applications, the form is available on the homepage at www.landkreis-erding.de/hochwasser.
The application deadline is November 30, 2021.
“I would like to thank everyone who has already donated or who would like to make a donation to the Erding district for the flood victims.
Solidarity and willingness to help are very important in our district, ”says District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer happily.
Except for the last euro, the money will go straight to the flood victims.
Around 70 households are known to the district office, 30 of them in Oberdorfen, 20 in the municipality of Bockhorn and others in Isen, St. Wolfgang, Taufkirchen and Walpertskirchen.
