The attack submarines, on the other hand, move with discretion towards their targets, for combat or intelligence missions.
Theoretically, in peacetime, they are supposed to signal their presence when they enter territorial waters ... An obligation easily bypassed since no one sees them.
So the submariners have an anxiety: that the oceans will one day become transparent thanks to technological progress.
