After a rainy Friday, people in North Rhine-Westphalia can expect a very friendly weekend.
A mix of sun and clouds and overall better autumn weather can be expected on Saturday and Sunday, said a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD).
On Friday, however, it will be changeable.
With heavy cloud cover, rain comes in from the north during the day, which shifts to the south in the afternoon.
Essen - In East Westphalia and higher altitudes, strong wind gusts are also possible at times.
The maximum temperatures are expected to be 13 to 15 degrees.
On Saturday, after the fog fields disappeared, it was cloudy and, especially in the southern half, sometimes bright, according to the DWD expert.
In addition, it will probably stay dry - at a maximum of 11 to 14 degrees.
Only in East Westphalia some rain cannot be ruled out.
According to the DWD, things will continue in a similar way on Sunday, although this will be a little milder.
In the nights there could be ground frost and light air frost.
