The project, in the boxes of the town hall of Paris for four years, is today at the time of the citizen consultation. “One Site”, that's its name, aims to pedestrianize and vegetate a vast area around the Eiffel Tower, from the Military School to the Place du Trocadéro via the Pont d'Iéna. A rather successful aesthetic according to the illustrations of the landscape agency Gustafson Porter + Bowman which won the tender in 2019, the project is however widely criticized by residents and local elected officials. Too expensive, a source of insecurity or congestion in the adjacent streets, criticism is mounting, while work should start in mid-2022. From October 11 until November 17,online public consultation is therefore open to allow everyone to give their opinion.
