The shooting that shook the neighborhood, the riot in the synagogue and the escape: Murder of Eldad Perry - minute by minute
Perry went out of his house to the neighborhood synagogue where he used to pray every morning.
On his way there, a motorcyclist fired several bullets at him and escaped.

The murder this morning (Friday) of businessman Eldad Perry, 44, caught the residents of Rehovot by surprise.
Some residents were in the middle of a morning run, and others were praying in the synagogue when they suddenly heard the sounds of gunfire.
Police are continuing efforts to clarify the circumstances of the murder, with all directions of the investigation still open.

Residents who were on a morning run hear the gunshots, call the police and report what happened.

Police forces arrive at the scene.
After noticing the fruit, they called the rescue forces.

MDA staff arrived at the scene, gave Perry initial medical treatment, but was eventually forced to determine his death. A few hours later, his body was evacuated.

Additional police investigators, who were called to the scene, began collecting testimonies from passers-by and residents.
At the same time, forensic investigators began gathering information at the murder scene. Four hours after the murder, investigators at the scene continue to collect findings.
