As the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North announced, a serious accident at work on a construction site on Osterbachstrasse in Gammelsdorf was reported shortly after 9 a.m. on Friday via the Erding integrated control center.

The client had found a 33-year-old truck driver from the Kelheim district, who had previously delivered building materials, trapped unconscious between his truck and a trailer.

No evidence of third-party debt

Although the victim was quickly rescued with the help of a tractor and the fire and rescue services, including a helicopter, were quickly on site, any help came too late for the 33-year-old.

Despite resuscitation measures, he succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.

So far there are no indications of third-party negligence.

The Kripo Erding started the investigation under the direction of the Landshut public prosecutor's office.

To clarify the exact cause of the accident, an expert was also called in to prepare a technical report.
