After months of investigations, the public prosecutor's office in Hanau and the police in Southeast Hesse identified and provisionally arrested two suspected fraudsters in Regensburg, Bavaria. The two suspects, a 22-year-old and a 15-year-old, are said to have given an elderly woman from Dreiech (Offenbach district) cash and jewelry worth around 100 with a so-called shock call at the beginning of July.
Offenbach - have stolen 000 euros, as both authorities announced on Friday.
When they were arrested, they also had jewelry worth around 30,000 euros, which was apparently stolen from a new act in the Regensburg area.
According to the announcement, there was also numerous other evidence.
The accused were brought before the Hanau District Court and are now in custody.
