Shooting and chasing in Qalansawa (Editing: Aviad Ballali)

Two suspects in the shooting of a house in Qalansawa were arrested today (Friday) at the end of a police chase after them.

The incident began in the early evening, when the suspects fired at a house in Kalenswa, and then fled the scene.

Police officers who received the report of the shooting, identified the suspects' car and launched a chase after them.

During the chase, the fleeing driver lost control of the car, and she was eventually stopped on the sidewalk.

The pursuing officers took over two suspects and arrested them.

In the documentation of the case, the vehicle of the suspects was seen driving fast, while trying to evade the police, with shots being heard in the background.

After the vehicle got into a traffic jam, it was hit and stopped on the sidewalk.

Finally, the policemen are seen arresting one of the suspects.

A month ago, two Qalansawa residents were killed by shooting at their car near the Nitzanei Oz interchange.

Also in March, two young men were killed in Kalenswa in a shooting that took place in the house where they were staying.

One of the murdered was a nephew of the mayor, Ashraf Khatib. Earlier that month, the director himself was shot and seriously injured.
