The Verdi union sees opportunities for a deal in the collective bargaining talks for around 120,000 employees in wholesale and foreign trade in the south-west.

Verdi is calling for wages and salaries to be increased by 5.5 percent, but at least by 150 euros.
In addition, there must be a minimum wage of 12.50 euros per hour and an increase in training allowances of 100 euros.
According to Verdi, employers had offered 2 percent more money from November 1st.
A further increase of 2 percent should therefore take effect from July 1, 2022.
