This famous truck, posted this Friday morning in front of the stalls of the Narbonne market, looks like a giant camera.

It works like a kind of photo booth or giant Polaroid.

You just have to enter the cabin, you draw the curtain, you adjust the stool, and a few seconds later it's in the box.

Time to go out and the XXL version of the photo prints.

Fatma, a young mother, seems rather satisfied with the result.

“It's nice this truck, it's a very good idea to offer this animation,” she says.

Even the party tomorrow, it puts a good atmosphere.

This is good because as a resident, the site obviously generates nuisances.

I am happy to have a metro soon, but it will pass under my windows, I hope it will not be unliveable.

Opera arias and a DJ set with Radio Nova

Adelaide, who comes next, doesn't know if she'll be going to the party on Saturday. But she appreciates the operation and leaves "with a beautiful portrait of me, for once!" Another inhabitant, initially intimidated, lets himself be convinced by the collaborators of JR and the SGP. "You have such a beautiful smile, you have to come", they urge him. Once he's sure “it's free” and dozens more portraits will be displayed on the yard palisades, he promises to come back with friends and family.

In addition to the monumental photographic installation by JR, the Opéra de Massy will participate in the celebration with three great opera arias performed by three soloists, a pianist and the company Chœur en scène, a highlighting of the site will be proposed by Guillaume Marmin and the company La Machine, and a DJ set concert with Radio Nova will end the evening.

"Visitors will be able to take advantage of educational workshops and adopt a tree in the pavilion of the breaths of Thierry Boutonnier", adds the SGP.
