The 12th round of the World Cup qualifiers in South America picked up tonight (Thursday to Friday) when Brazil defeated Uruguay 1: 4, Argentina defeated Peru 0: 1, Colombia and Ecuador split 0: 0.

In the previous round, the Brazilians lost their first points in the campaign when they finished 0-0 with Colombia, but tonight Neymar and Rafinha arranged a home victory for the national team.
Neymar scored his 70th goal in the national team uniform after only 10 minutes, and Rafinha doubled in the 18th minute.
The Leeds player completed a personal double in the 58th minute from Neymar's shot, which also cooked Gabriel Barbosa's fourth goal in the 83rd minute.
In between Luis Suarez only shrank (77).
Argentina - Peru 0: 1.
The Copa America holder continues its 25-game losing streak.
Tonight Lautro Martinez scored the winning goal in the 43rd minute, as the visitors missed a penalty that could have equalized.
Argentina has 25 points and is in second place after Brazil.

Colombia and Peru drew 0-0, and this is the third time in a row that the Colombians finish with this result.
11 minutes into extra time Yiri Mina scored what looked like a dramatic winning goal, but was disqualified after a VAR check following a hand touch.
Chile did not have a hard time against the last in the table in Venezuela with an easy 0: 3 from a pair of Eric Polgar, when the two goals were scored by Alexis Sanchez.

Bolivia defeated Paraguay 0: 4, and both now have 12 points in seventh and eighth place.
