In Rhineland-Palatinate, the authorities registered 124 new corona infections within one day.
The incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, fell from 54.4 to 50.6, as the state investigation office in Koblenz announced on Saturday (as of 11.10 a.m.).
Another death was reported in connection with the virus - this number rose to a total of 4,041 in the state.
Mainz - The hospitalization incidence - i.e. the number of hospital cases per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days - fell from 1.8 to 1.4.
In Rhineland-Palatinate, 3.24 percent of the intensive care beds are occupied by Covid 19 sufferers (previous day: 3.42).
