After a week-long film marathon, the “Schlingel” festival will come to an end today (5.30 p.m.) with the award ceremony.
The best films will be awarded in Chemnitz.
There were 77 full-length and 116 short films in the competition.
The winners were decided by specialist and children's juries.
For example, the European Children's Film Prize, endowed with 12,500 euros, and the main prize of the Saxon State Agency for Private Broadcasting and New Media (10.
Chemnitz - 000 euros).
The best child actor is also awarded.
The "Schlingel" sees itself as an international film festival for children and young audiences.
This year it was in its 26th edition.
