Brazen action in Regensburg: man pretends to be a representative and steals from woman in her apartment

On Wednesday, a woman in Regensburg, assuming he was a representative, let a man into her apartment.

He stole jewelry and fled.

Regensburg - On Wednesday (October 13th) a previously unknown man used a trick to steal expensive jewelry.

As the Regensburg Police * writes, he gained access to an apartment on Greflingerstrasse in Regensburg * under a pretext.

The police are looking for witnesses.

At around 9.15 a.m., the man rang the doorbell of an 81-year-old.

He pretended to be a sales representative and told the lady that he wanted to offer her jewelry insurance.

Then she let him enter.

She showed the man her jewelry box.

The man grabbed three high-quality rings and fled the apartment.

As the woman reported, the man was around 50 to 60 years old, was well built, had short brown hair and a three-day beard.

He was wearing jeans and a polo shirt.
