The Food and Health Bureau announced today (16th) that people who live in the same building as the confirmed local case of the mutant virus strain or work in the building in the relevant case must report the third, seventh, and seventh steps after the confirmed case has been announced by the Department of Health. Compulsory testing will be carried out on the 12th and 19th.
Tomorrow (17th), the Hong Kong Government will reopen the Children's Playground at the Podium Garden on the 5th floor of Harbour City, North Point, and the mobile sampling station on the podium of Tong Yick Building in Yuen Long.

A spokesman for the Hong Kong Government pointed out that all community testing centers in Hong Kong provide testing services for citizens, including free services for those who are subject to mandatory testing.
The community testing center provides appointment and on-site registration services, and will give priority to providing services to citizens who have made an appointment.
As of today (16th) at 6 pm, the community testing center has about 32,000 reservations left for tomorrow, and about 92% and 95% of the reservations are left in the next week and two weeks, respectively.
The authorities emphasized that together with the community testing centers, there will be a total of 28 community testing centers or mobile sampling stations in all districts in Hong Kong tomorrow. They will provide free services for those who need to undergo compulsory testing, and the volume of testing will be sufficient to meet demand.
Citizens who have a negative test result will receive a short message notification, and those undergoing compulsory testing must properly keep relevant records.
