The Public Establishment for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Damascus Governorate announced that water will be cut off for 24 hours, tomorrow, Sunday, to some areas and neighborhoods of the city to carry out maintenance work on the main lines feeding them, provided that it will be supplied again on Monday morning 10/18-2021 according to the usual supply program.
According to a statement published by the Foundation on its Facebook page, the water will be cut off tomorrow, Sunday, for 24 hours from the areas of Al-Baramkeh, Qabr Atika, Khaled Bin Al-Waleed Street, Al-Hariqa, Bab Musalla, Daf Al-Shouk, the industrial area, Old Damascus, Al-Midan Corniche, Sikka Square, Zahira, Tadamon, Al-Yarmouk camp, Al-Qa’a, Al-Haqla and Duila’a.
The areas also include the old Mezzeh, Sheikh Saad, Al-Jalaa Street, the vicinity of 601 Hospital, the entire Mazzeh highway, the eastern villas, the old airport road, Qudsaya segments - Martyr Basil Al-Assad Street, Al-Khayyat, Ali Bin Abi Talib Street, Al-Ahdath, Jdeidet Al-Shaibani, Ashrafieh Al-Wadi, and the communities benefiting from Sahara Intersection.
The statement stated that the water will be cut off on Monday, 10/18/2021 for a period of 24 hours to the areas surrounding the Ministry of Higher Education, Mouwasat roundabout, April 17 highway, Kafr Sousa, Kafr Sousa, Kafr Souseh Al-Balad, Hamriyah, Nahr Aisha, Al-Dahadeel, Bayader Nader, Kafr Sousse Luwan, Al-Adawy Highway and Trade, Sharqi Al-Tijaria, Al-Abbasiyyin Square and Square. Tahrir, Murshid Khater Street, Bab Touma Square, Zabaltani, the vicinity of Souk Al-Hal, Sheikh Muhyi Al-Din, Al-Afeef, Al-Jabba, Al-Jabba, Al-Maysat, east of Rukn Al-Din Barniya, Asad Al-Din, Rukn Al-Din, Masaken Barzeh, and the islands of youth housing in Qudsaya, provided that the supply will return to the mentioned areas on Tuesday morning 10/19-2021 according to the usual supply program.
