A drunk man had chosen an inconvenient seat at the train station in Burg on the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn.
The federal police reported on Friday that he sat on the coupling of a stationary train.
When the train driver asked him to leave the track area, the 26-year-old was completely freaked out, said a police spokesman.
The man jumped onto the platform on Thursday, kicked the train door several times and threw ballast stones against the windshield.
Fehmarn police officers took him away in handcuffs and expelled him.
The 26-year-old was picked up by his parents.
