Family and friends accompanied the businessman who was murdered in the streets on his last journey in the Mount of Olives cemetery • "He was not frightened of anything and was not afraid of anything," said his friend, "he saw how the world could be fixed."

Eldad Perry, a real estate developer who was murdered in Rehovot on Friday, was laid to rest tonight (Saturday) in the Mount of Olives cemetery in Jerusalem.

Hundreds of Perry's family and friends accompanied him on his final journey, in pain and shocked by his tragic death.

Perry was shot to death Friday morning near a synagogue before morning prayers.

praised him: "You cared for everyone. You would do good to everyone, even if not everyone believed in you. You are an amazing person with a big heart. You always wanted to give more. You always cared for people as if they were your family. The strongest and best person."

Eldad Perry's son said in tears: "My father I love you and miss you a lot."

One of Eldad Perry's friends said during the funeral: "He was not scared of anything and was not afraid of anything. He saw how the world could be fixed. Eldad went out of a request to atone for Klal Israel because this is the way to bring the great light to the world."

"He was a meteor," said one of his childhood friends, "he always had a brilliant mind. In recent years he has invested in Torah study at the highest levels."

During one of the most difficult moments at the funeral, one of the participants in the funeral shouted as they removed Eldad Perry's bed to the burial: "Eldad will wake up."

Perry, a native of Netivot, grew up in the city until he was drafted into the army, then moved to the streets and was revealed as a charismatic man, with high ambitions and impressive marketing abilities.

He filled halls with marketing conferences, top-notch executives in real estate and communications.

Over the years he became a well-known real estate entrepreneur, one of the founders of the Eldad Perry Group, which engaged in residential and commercial construction and specialized in providing professional services for all stages of construction.

Following this, a year ago the police began investigating complaints about Perry's conduct, including a complaint from the Ministry of Construction and Housing for violating the Sale and Investment Guarantee Act.

Against this background, insolvency proceedings were conducted against him, when he held debts of almost half a billion shekels.

The homicide investigation was assigned to the Central District Police Central Unit.
