The Erdinger Chamber Orchestra can play in front of an audience again: A music evening with two concerts on October 23 in Altenerding
Erding - On Saturday, October 23rd, the two autumn concerts of the Erdinger Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Alexander Scholz will take place at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the parish church of the Annunciation in Altenerding.
Since the musicians are particularly happy to be able to play live in front of an audience again, they would like to offer an entertaining concert evening lasting around an hour that bridges the gap between baroque and neo-baroque, romantic and more modern sounds.
The soloist is the soprano Ira Maria Scholz, who is well known in Erding.
She sings excerpts from Antonio Vivaldi's psalm setting Laudate pueri.
On the other hand, the violinist Anna Kakutia will appear as a soloist in two works: In addition to Jules Massenet's famous meditation, you can look forward to Fratres by Arvo Pärt.
The Estonian composer Pärt, born in 1935, is considered a great wise man among living composers, who manages to create large spaces and meditative soundscapes with sometimes only minimal means of composition.
Speaking of Pärt: this work is estimated to be the Erdinger premiere.
Admission is free, donations are welcome.
The 3G regulation with mask compulsory applies.
