Four people suffered serious injuries in a collision between two cars in Mönchhagen (Rostock district) on Saturday morning.
According to initial findings, an 86-year-old man drove his car from the area of a gas station onto the federal highway 105 without paying attention to the right of way of an approaching car, as a police spokesman said in the afternoon.

The street was completely closed for three hours.
