This Friday, the Honduras National Soccer Team reported through a statement on its verified Twitter page that Hernán Darío Gómez has been appointed as the new technical director of the Honduras Soccer team.
"El Bolillo Gómez" comes after the departure of Fabián Coito who did not achieve good results in the last dates of the qualifying rounds for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
This will be the third CONCACAF zone selection that "El Bolillo Gómez" will direct, previously, he directed Guatemala from 2006 to 2008 and Panama from 2014 to 2018.

The next round of qualifiers Honduras will face Panama on November 12 and on November 16 they will visit Costa Rica.
