Leipzig / Dresden - Saxony is starting the autumn vacation this Saturday - at the airports and on the streets, therefore, lively activity is expected.
A total of 50 planes will take off from Leipzig / Halle and Dresden airports on Saturday and Sunday for holiday regions, as announced by Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG.
"Our most important message is: The guests should prepare well for relaxed travel," said company spokesman Uwe Schuhart.

The Frankfurt airport operator Fraport alone is prepared to handle up to 130,000 air travelers per day.
The ADAC Hessen-Thüringen predicted “significantly more traffic than usual”, especially for the weekend.

With 40 planes from Leipzig / Halle and 10 planes from Dresden it goes to vacation countries like Spain, Turkey, Greece and Italy.
For these destinations, guests must fill out online forms prior to entry.
Upon successful completion, a QR code will be generated.
"Guests should definitely have this ready when they check in," said Schuhart.
Without the required QR code and test or vaccination certificates, travelers would not be able to get on the plane.
Since the corona-related formalities take time, Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG recommends all travelers to be at the airport at least two and a half hours before departure.
The traffic warning service also expects more traffic on the roads at the start of the holiday.
A spokesman said it could be tight, especially at the construction sites on the A72 from Hof in the direction of Chemnitz and on the A4 from Aachen in the direction of Görlitz.
