Our team had recently participated in the West Asian Federation Championship in Group C along with Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, where it won in the first round against Bahrain 4-1 and lost to Saudi Arabia 0-2 and qualified for the semi-finals as the best second place in the three groups in the championship, while losing to Jordan in half Final 2-5.
