Gone are the days of unity and harmony in the Kreuther municipal council.
On Thursday evening there was a scandal in the local parliament.
Kreuth - There were harsh words, accusations and measures - but no apology.
Mayor Josef Bierschneider (CSU) wanted to return to the factual discussion at the council table.
Originally, the council was supposed to deal again with the expansion of the Aldi store in Weißach and especially the comments received.
As reported, there is considerable resistance to the project from citizens and organizations such as the Schutzgemeinschaft Tegernseer Tal (SGT).
The critics fear that the expansion will come at the expense of retailers.
There are now several lists of signatures from opponents.

While the mayor informed that, contrary to the announcement, the expansion of the discount store was not on the agenda because the impact analysis commissioned by the municipality had not yet been completed, SPD parliamentary group spokesman and district councilor Martin Walch - an opponent of the expansion - took the floor .
The trigger was an interview that municipal councilor Markus Wrba (FWG) gave to a local online portal in September.

It was impossible to overlook or overhear how emotionally involved Walch was.
He was trembling with anger.
Looking at Wrba's statement that SPD councilor Robert Gerg had torn up ditches in the village to make himself and his parliamentary group look good, he said: “I find it unspeakable how you disgrace a council colleague.” That was “polemical”, the procedure "brazen", claims "fictitious".
One statement at a time, Walch went through the interview in question and dissected it.
He put things right, for example that neither Gerg nor Walch were present at an event where they allegedly campaigned in disguise.

"We made a matter-of-fact opinion in the local council about the Aldi expansion in the outdoor area," Walch clarified.
He accused Wrba of having drawn them into the discussion without being asked and without concrete knowledge of the economic situation of Kreuther business people and, on top of that, having approached the chairwoman of the protective community, Angela Brogsitter-Finck, with untruths.

Above all, the Social Democrat refused to counter Wrba's allegation of being “unsocial”.
"Get together with this populism and polemical chatter!"
The latter attested Wrba "extremely bad style" because he had chosen a platform for the argument that he, Gerg, had no opportunity to reply.
Not only is Wrba's statement that no blade of grass from Kreuther will be put down for the Aldi cultivation, is an untruth.
Where does he get his knowledge of the dealers from when he has not spoken to the people?
Wine merchant Gerg defended the signature lists.
They were interpreted for a good reason.
It was Wrba who dug rifts here.

In the end, Gerg accused the parliamentary group spokesman of the Free Voters with serious grievances.
Namely to have "divulged" information from non-public council resolutions.
Wrba wanted to leave these allegations as well as the request for apology in mind of the public and the admonitions of Mayor Bierschneider "uncommented".
During the meeting, Bierschneider urged: “I have always appreciated the fact that we discussed openly and honestly with one another and that the exchange took place in the committee.
I hope that we will return to objectivity - also and especially if we have different opinions. "
