A driver (33) fled the police in Munich for fear of a drug test.
The spectacular hunt ended in a back yard.
Munich
- Because he was afraid of having to undergo a drug test, a driver in Munich fled to the front on Saturday night.
There was a chase through the state capital.
As the police announced, officials on the A96 motorway in the direction of Munich asked the 33-year-old to stop his car shortly after midnight with stop signals.
Instead of complying with these, the driver accelerated his car, drove into the city via the middle ring and tried to hang out the police officers in several side streets.

When this did not succeed, the man finally got out of his car and fled on foot.
He was finally placed in a courtyard by the officers.
Since he initially resisted arrest, he was first pinned to the ground and then taken into custody.
The man had apparently used cocaine and marijuana before his trip on Saturday.
He had allowed himself to flee for fear of a drug test by the officers.
According to initial investigations, the car he was traveling in belongs to the operator of an outpatient care service where the 33-year-old is said to be employed.
However, he should be rid of his driver's license for now.
In addition, several reports await the man, among other things because of the driving under the influence of drugs and assault on the police officers.
A film chase, including a police helicopter, took place in Munich last year.
However, it stretched to Middle Franconia and took several spectacular turns.
