India recorded 15,981 new infections with the Corona virus, bringing the total number of infections to 34 million and 53,573.
The Xinhua news agency quoted the Indian Ministry of Health as saying that the total number of deaths rose to 451,980 after 166 new deaths were recorded.
In Pakistan, the health authorities recorded 893 new infections with the virus, bringing the total number of infections to one million and 263,664, while the number of deaths rose to 28,252 after 24 new cases were recorded.
