The vaccine is still manufactured by BioNTech and is in Germany. The Baxter plant is packaged and shipped to Hong Kong by Fosun Pharma.

According to the government's new crown vaccine special website, Hong Kong citizens have received more than 5.646 million doses of Fubital vaccine, and there are still 796,000 vaccinations.

The Hong Kong government purchased a total of 7.5 million doses of Fubital vaccine from BioNTech Pharmaceuticals and shipped them to Hong Kong in batches. The latest batch of 800,000 doses of vaccine was delivered today.

According to the Department of Health, the staff immediately inspected and checked the vaccines in accordance with established procedures to ensure that the vaccines comply with product specifications and relevant cold chain transportation standards.

The government will also store vaccines in verified ultra-low temperature refrigerators and keep them properly at the temperature specified by the pharmaceutical factory.

So far, a total of 7.39 million doses of Fubitai vaccine have been delivered to Hong Kong, that is, only 110,000 doses have not yet been delivered.

As of yesterday (15th), there were 2.747 million people who had received two injections of Fubite, and 2.898 million people had received one injection. After deducting 151,000 who still need one more injection, only 1.592 million doses of Fubite remained. Vaccines are available for vaccination, based on the calculation of two doses per person, that is, there are about 796,000 vaccinations for Fubitai.
