Six people were injured in a fire in a retirement home in Griesheim (Darmstadt-Dieburg district). The fire broke out in the room of a 65-year-old resident on Saturday morning, the police said. The man suffered burn injuries to his arm and severe smoke inhalation. Two residents, aged 86 and 89, were also seriously injured by inhaling smoke gases, according to police.
