The Director of the Russian Gamalia Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, Alexander Ginzburg, announced today the allocation of an anti-Coronavirus vaccine for children called “Sputnik M”.
"The vaccine against corona for children can be called Sputnik M.. Of course, the name Sputnik will remain, but the letter M has been added there," RIA Novosti news agency quoted Ginzburg as saying.
Earlier, the Russian Assistant Minister of Health Alexei Kuznetsov said that the vaccination of adolescents in the event of registration of the new vaccine would be voluntary, adding, "They intend to do this with the consent of the parents or their legal representatives."
