Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn (CDU) has complained of turmoil within the CDU.
"We are torn in many places," said Spahn at the Junge Union's Germany Day on Saturday in Münster.
"In many places, and not just for a few weeks, we have a climate of mistrust that has spread, and also a crisis of solidarity."
Münster - For a long time, there has been a noticeable discomfort among members of the party leadership.
"But the decision to run for chancellor, as we made it, meant the break for many," said Spahn.
That is why it is right and important that the entire federal board has cleared the way for new board elections.

Education ministers advise on Corona and schools
