A former Syrian prisoner was killed by Israel in Quneitra, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported today (Saturday).
The name of the man who was killed is Madhat al-Salah, who according to the information provided was shot when he returned to his home in Ein Tina.
Al-Salah, a Druze who originally lived in a restaurant village in the Golan Heights, was previously elected to parliament in Syria, after being released from prison in Israel and crossing the border into a neighboring country.
In the Syrian parliament, he dealt with issues related to the Golan.
Israel has not yet addressed the reports in Syria.
