Beirut-Sana

The General Secretariat of the General Conference of Arab Parties strongly condemned what happened in Tayouneh locality in Beirut the day before yesterday, stressing that it was a “described crime committed by criminal gangs in implementation of an American and Zionist agenda.”

The General Secretariat said in a statement today that "what happened in Tayouneh is a dangerous invocation of sedition and an attempt to provoke internal fighting in implementation of the American Zionist agenda targeting Lebanon in general and the Lebanese resistance with all its parties in particular."

The statement called on the Lebanese security and judicial authorities not to tolerate the perpetrators of the events, starting with those who issued orders, incited, planned, executed and imposed the most severe penalties against them.

The General Secretariat affirmed the support of the General Conference of Arab Parties to the resistance that defended the honor of the nation and defeated terrorism with its Zionist and Takfiri sides.

Seven Lebanese were killed the day before yesterday, and sixty others were injured as a result of an ambush carried out by gunmen from the Lebanese Forces militia against peaceful demonstrators who came out to express their position rejecting the politicization of the investigation into the Beirut port explosion.
