Affected by the easterly airstream, cloud cover along the coast of Guangdong will increase in the middle of next week.
The Observatory predicts that another northern monsoon will reach the coast of South China later in the next week. There will be showers in the area and the temperature will drop significantly.

After the tropical cyclone moved away, Hong Kong saw the blue sky again and gradually became dry.
According to the Observatory, the dry northeast monsoon is affecting Guangdong, and the relative humidity in various districts dropped to about 60% in the afternoon.
It is expected that there will be sunshine for part of the afternoon today (16th); it will be mostly cloudy tonight and the weather will be slightly cooler.
Blowing gently until fresh northerly winds, strong winds occasionally blow offshore tonight.

The Observatory expects some sunshine tomorrow (17th), and it will be slightly cooler in the morning and evening; the temperature will be between 22 and 27 degrees, and 19 degrees in many parts of the New Territories.
According to the highest temperature recorded by the Observatory today, it reached 30.3 degrees. If the lowest temperature tomorrow is 22 degrees, the temperature will drop by 8 degrees overnight.

The temperature is expected to drop to 19 to 24 degrees, and only 18 degrees in Tuen Mun, Ta Kwu Ling and Sheung Shui. There is a chance that this will be the coolest autumn this year, or the coldest frost since 2002.
